What is cancer?

Cancer cells do not die at the natural point in a cell's life cycle. Cancer is a broad term. It describes the disease that results from cell changes that cause cells to grow and divide uncontrollably. Some types of cancer cause cells to grow rapidly, while others cause cells to grow and divide more slowly.

Some forms of cancer cause visible growths called tumors, while others, like leukemia, do not. Most cells in the body have specific functions and have a fixed lifespan. Although it may seem bad, cell death is part of a natural and beneficial phenomenon called apoptosis.

A cell is instructed to die so the body can replace it with a new, better-functioning cell. Cancer cells lack the components that tell them to stop dividing and die. As a result, they build up in the body using oxygen and nutrients that generally nourish other cells. Cancer cells can form tumors, alter the immune system, and cause other changes that prevent the body from functioning regularly.

Cancer cells can appear in an area and then spread through the lymph nodes. These are clusters of immune cells located throughout the body.

1. The Causes

There are many causes of cancer and some are preventable. For example, the United States, more than 480 000 people die each year from smoking, according to data released in 2014. In addition to smoking, risk factors for cancer include:

• A high intake of alcohol • Excess weight
• Physical inactivity
• Poor nutrition

Other causes of cancer are not preventable. The most important non-preventable risk factor currently is age. According to the American Cancer Society, American doctors diagnose 87% of cancer cases in people aged 50 and over.

2. Is cancer genetic?

Genetic factors can contribute to the development of cancer. A person's genetic code tells their cells when to divide and when to breathe out. Changes in genes can lead to the wrong instructions, which can lead to cancer.

Genes also influence the production of proteins by cells, which contain many instructions for cell growth and division.
Some genes modify proteins that usually repair damaged cells. It can
lead to cancer. If a parent has these genes, they can pass the modified instructions on to their offspring.

Some genetic changes occur after birth, and factors like smoking and sun exposure can increase the risk. The chemical signals that determine how the body unfolds or "expresses" specific genes can also lead to cancer.

Finally, a person can inherit a predisposition to one type of cancer. A doctor can talk about an inherited cancer syndrome. Hereditary genetic mutations contribute significantly to the development of 5-10% of cancer cases.

3. The Different Treatments

Innovative research has fueled the development of new drugs and treatment technologies. Doctors usually prescribe treatments based on the type of cancer, its stage of diagnosis, and the person's general health.

Side effects of chemotherapy include hair loss. However, therapeutic advances are improving the outlook for people with cancer.

Below are some examples of approaches to treating cancer:

• Chemotherapy aims to kill cancer cells with drugs that target rapidly dividing cells. Medication can also help shrink tumors, but side effects can be serious.

• Hormone therapy involves taking drugs that change the way certain hormones work or that interfere with the body's ability to make them. When hormones play an important role, as in the case of prostate and breast cancer, this is a common approach.

• Immunotherapy uses drugs and other treatments to strengthen the immune system and encourage it to fight cancer cells. Two examples of these treatments are checkpoint inhibitors and adoptive cell transfer.

• Precision medicine, or personalized medicine, is a new and developing approach. It involves using genetic testing to determine the best treatments for a person's particular presentation of cancer. Researchers have yet to show that it can effectively treat all types of cancer.

• Radiation therapy uses high dose radiation to kill cancer cells. In addition, a doctor may recommend the use of

Radiation to reduce the size of a tumor before surgery or to reduce

symptoms related to the tumor.
• Stem cell transplantation can be particularly beneficial for people with

blood-related cancers, such as leukemia or lymphoma. It involves removing cells, such as red or white blood cells, that chemotherapy or radiation has destroyed. Laboratory technicians then strengthen the cells and put them back into the body.

• Surgery is often part of the treatment plan for someone with a cancerous tumor. Also, a surgeon may remove lymph nodes to reduce or prevent the spread of the disease.

• Targeted therapies perform functions within cancer cells to prevent them from multiplying. They can also strengthen the immune system. Two examples of these therapies are small molecule drugs and monoclonal antibodies.

Doctors will often use more than one type of treatment to maximize effectiveness.

4. The Different Types of Cancer:

The most common type of cancer in the United States is breast cancer, followed by lung and prostate cancer, according to the National Cancer Institute, which excludes skin cancers other than melanoma of these results. Smoking increases the risk of many types of cancer.

Each year, more than 40,000 people in the country are diagnosed with one of the following types of cancer:

• bladder

• colon and rectal

• endometrium

• kidney

• leukemia • liver

• melanoma

Alyaa Ghanema Academy-Naturopath

• non-Hodgkin lymphoma • pancreatic
• thyroid

Other forms are less common. According to the National Cancer Institute, there are more than 100 types of cancer.

5. Cancer development and cell division

Doctors classify cancer by:

• its location in the body

• the tissues that it forms in

For example, sarcomas grow in bones or soft tissues, while carcinomas form in cells that cover the internal or external surfaces of the body. Basal cell carcinomas grow in the skin, while adenocarcinomas can form in the breast.

When cancer cells spread to other parts of the body, the medical term used is metastasis. A person can also have more than one type of cancer at the same time.

Recommendations:

• Honeyjuice:5gofginseng+5gofblackseeds+aspoonofhoney+5 spoons of lukewarm water

• breathing exercise every morning

• Detoxification bath with rubbing of the skin every day for 10 minutes

• vinegar and bread as a snack
• Figs and olives are also healthy snacks • Detox day twice a week
• Avoid canned and frozen
• foodsprocessed foods

• AvoidAvoid milk and meat • Follow a healthy diet

6. Treating Cancer Naturally: 11 Strategies That Work

By Dr David Jockers DC, MS, CSCS

You have the power to unleash your natural healing abilities. Use these 11 natural cancer treatments to relieve your symptoms and prevent the spread of tumors throughout your body.

If you are currently cancer free, these modalities can be used to prevent the cancer from taking hold. Unlike toxic cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy, these natural treatments strengthen the body and help strengthen the immune system.

1 # The ketogenic diet allows the body to convert fat into fuel (in the form of ketones) during a physiological process that does not overload the cell's powerhouses, called mitochondria. Typically, mitochondria
generate energy from the glucose that is found in abundance in our

high carbohydrate diets.

The ketogenic diet is low in carbohydrates and high in good fats. A ketogenic diet reduces the risk of intracellular mutations and free radical formation, both of which are responsible for colon, lung and breast cancer.

The ketogenic diet reduces symptoms in patients with metabolic disorders, as it reduces the energy generated by the breakdown of glucose from simple and complex carbohydrates. Cancer cells thrive on energy from the fermentation of glucose, also called anaerobic metabolism due to lack of oxygenation.

Examples of approved ketogenic foods include: beef anddairy products grazed(including eggs), organic poultry, wild fish, and seafood. Low-carb vegetables and fruits (including cabbage, asparagus, lemon and

lime), healthy fats such as avocados and coconut oil, as well as some nuts and seeds are generally allowed.

Engaging in a ketogenic diet can delay tumor development and increase patient survival rates by over 50%. Using intermittent fasting where you consume meals between 4 and 8 hours each day can be a very effective way to get into ketosis. Fasting is an immune system boosting anti- inflammatory activity that lowers blood sugar and improves ketone body formation.

2 # Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamberhyperbaric oxygen therapy

Add to your commitment to the ketogenic diet. The combination of a nutrient-dense ketogenic diet and hyperbaric oxygen therapy is being studied for its effectiveness on various forms of cancer. Many healthcare professionals use this modality to improve immunity and help people overcome chronic illnesses.

The two treatments combined showed a decrease in the rate of tumor growth, improvement in ketosis, and a decrease in glucose levels. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy promotes the supply of oxygen to cells and improves pH by reducing acidity, two main factors in cancer development. Healthy cells only thrive under conditions where they receive an adequate supply of oxygen, unlike cancer cells. Receivingtreatments

hyperbaric oxygen therapycan dampen your body's pH, improve

oxygen supply, and overall improve cellular conditions, which reduces the risk of cancerous growth.

Most practitioners recommend a 50-minute session three times a week, but many people choose to buy or rent a portable hyperbaric chamber where they can work for several hours at a time or even sleep in it overnight on a regular basis. .

3 # Juicing Extractions Juicing

is an amazing tool that anyone can use to reduce their risk of cancer. Juice from nutrient-dense foods floods the body with powerful antioxidants and cancer-fighting tools to strengthen the immune system and improve health. In fact, juicing certain fruits and vegetables can provide a greater amount of nutrients for absorption compared to consuming the whole source of raw or cooked food.

When deciding what to do with juice and how to receive the best benefits with minimal effort, try juicing cruciferous vegetables. Cruciferous vegetables and their shoots contain phytochemicals that have profound anti- aging, anticancer and antioxidant properties.

Kale, broccoli, and cauliflower sprouts are only needed in small concentrations for health benefits. These germs provide the body with natural enzymes to fight cancer by reducing free radicals and inflammation.

To name just a few examples, sprouts contain nutrients such as:

• Vitamins and minerals, including K and C • chlorophyll

Alyaa Ghanema Academy-Naturopath

• glutathione
• Amino acids
• Sulforaphane • Beta-carotene • Quercetin

Sulforaphane deserves special attention due to its ability to detoxify natural pathways and reduce the load of carcinogens in cells and tissues.

Quercetin, obtained in high yield by extracting fresh, high-food quality, increases apoptosis and prevents cancer metastasis.

Always try to drink juice immediately after preparing it in order to consume the juice in its most nutrient dense state. Otherwise, store the juice in an airtight glass container in the darkest, coldest part of the refrigerator for optimum nutrient quality.

Many practitioners recommend that cancer patients consume between 32 and 64 ounces of fresh green fruit juice each day to slow cancer growth. For prevention, 8 to 16 ounces can be a great strategy to make sure your body is getting enough micronutrients.

4 # Fermented

foods Fermented foods and drinks are great sources of healthy bacteria. A healthy gut microbiota plays an important role in regulating the health of the whole body and mind. People at increased risk for metabolic diseases and cancer typically have high levels of harmful bacteria in their gut microbiomes.

Some cancers associated with unhealthy gut bacteria are colorectal cancer, carcinoma of the pancreas, and cancer of the gallbladder. Bacteroids are a main type of bacteria found in fermented foods that produce a substance called butyrate. Butyrate has its own anticancer properties and is involved in the enzymatic processes associated with starch degradation.

Try adding fermented dairy products such as yogurt and kefir to your diet with live cultures from grass-fed cows. Cultivated vegetables, kombucha, sauerkraut, and other fermented foods and drinks are also sources of good bacteria. Many practitioners recommend 2-4 servings of fermented foods every day to improve health and prevent / slow cancer growth.

Alyaa Ghanema Academy-Naturopath

If you are on a ketogenic diet, look for fermented foods that are low in sugar and carbohydrates, so that they fit perfectly into the ketogenic diet pattern.

This includes sauerkraut, kimchi, coconut water kefir, water kefirmilk kefir , coconut, apple cider vinegar, and unsweetened coconut yogurt.

Warning: Slow things down when adding fermented foods to your diet to avoid painful gas and bloating.

5 # Vitamin D

Vitamin D is an important part of the central nervous system and the health of the entire human body. This essential nutrient has anti- inflammatory and anti-oxidant capacities that continue to amaze researchers.

Studies have shown that vitamin D is associated with the reduction of autoimmune complications and may limit the release of natural killer cell secretions when the situation is unwarranted, such as during pregnancy. One of the key functions of vitamin D is its ability to balance inflammatory pathways linked to cancer and to promote the production of proteins such as GcMAF, which regulate cancer cells. (Learn more about GcMAF here.)

GcMAF needs vitamin D to be created and to perform its vital functions in maintaining the health of all cells and tissues. GcMAF has been shown to reverse breast cancer by preventing cancer cells from multiplying. Vitamin D treatment therefore also promotes the function of GcMAF and the ability to treat, among others, cancers of lymphoma, bladder, ovaries and head and neck.

You can check the amount of vitamin D in your system by doing a blood test called 25-hydroxy vitamin D (Other names used for the test are 25-OH vitamin D test; Calcidiol;. Test 25-hydroxycholecalciferol)

The Ideal vitamin D3 levels are between 60 and 100 nanograms per milliliter (ng / ml), and are in an ideal range between 80 and 100 ng / ml for people seeking to prevent or slow the growth of cancer. As a rule of thumb, take 1000 IU for every 25 pounds of body weight to slowly increase your vitamin D levels

In the range. OR take 2000 IU per 25 pounds of body weight to quickly increase your vitamin D levels.

6 # Enzymes

Like an ice cream cone that melts on a hot summer day, an enzyme can no longer perform its function if some conditions are not
met.

Your body contains many

enzymes necessary for carrying out normal physiological processes. Enzymes promote anti-inflammatory effects, stimulate anti-cancer substances, and help flush toxins from the body.

You may remember learning from your science teacher how a key-to-key model represents an enzyme and the substance it acts on to perform a function? You may also remember that if certain conditions are not met, the enzymes break down.

For this reason, it is very important that the pH is balanced in our body. Unfortunately, our diets often leave our internal organs submerged in an environment full of excess acidity and interfere with the ability of enzymes to function. Toxins in the air we breathe, the water we drink, the personal care and household cleaning products we use, and many other living conditions further compound this problem which can lead to cancer.

You must consciously choose to replenish your body's enzymes and promote a stable environment for them to function. Enzymes are found in foods such as raw fruits and vegetables, fermented vegetables, and legumes.

Quinone reductase and glutathione-S-transferase, two enzymes found in fruits and vegetables, play an essential role in the regulation of antioxidant pathways.

Alyaa Ghanema Academy-Naturopath

When we consume foods containing enzymes, we enhance the natural detoxification pathways to cleanse the liver, intestines, lungs and stomach.
Citrus fruits such as lemons and limes are rich in organic acids which

(ironically enough) help to reduce our body's acidity and improvefunctions natural.

Enzyme therapy has been shown to be effective in treating people receiving chemotherapy treatment and in reducing side effects, including nausea, fatigue, vomiting, and pain. Systemic enzymes improve the immune system's natural defenses, which target cancer cells and prevent further growth.

Health care practitioners who use enzyme therapy often recommend 5 to 45 grams per day, depending on how fast the cancer grows. Five grams is excellent prevention for a slow growing tumor, while 45 grams is the typical dosage for people with very fast growing cancers.

7 # Indian Saffron

Clinical studies have shown that the curcumin found in turmeric root has potent abilities to treat symptoms of cancer, including its
ability to fight inflammation. Turmeric exhibits the same control in preventing inflammation as synthetic anti-inflammatory drugs like Tylenol and is based on over 570 studies.

Turmeric is a spice that you can add to your favorite curry dishes, Indian cuisine, traditional soups and stews. It is excellent mixed with healthy fats such as pasture milk.

Curcumin promotes the production of other antioxidant compounds such as glutathione and prevents oxidative damage or stress to organs.

Many practitioners recommend doses of 500 to 1000 mg of curcumin 3-4 times a day with food. Curcumin should also be mixed with black pepper peperine and taken with a fat-based meal for optimal absorption.

8 # BudwigBudwig

Protocol TheProtocol was developed by Ms. Johanna Budwig, one of the world's leading experts in research into fats and their impact on human microbiology. Since his research began in 1952, Budwig's protocol has been used to treat and cure cancers of the lung, prostate, ovaries, breast, pancreas and even the brain.

The protocol requires the combination of fromage blanc (a soft, fresh cheese) and linseed oil. The resulting mixture limits the toxic load on the body by improving oxygenation and promoting detoxification.

The health benefits of mixing quarks can be seen as a comparison to a dead car battery. The linseed oil contained in the quark is rich in electrons and saturated fat. It takes part in a chemical reaction and protects the electrons contained in flax seeds so that they can penetrate into dead cells.

This process loads these cells and gives them the boost they need to regain health. Attracting oxygen to cells is necessary to kill cancer cells and heal the body with healthy cells.

Dr Budwig found this treatment so effective that she advised her cancer patients to consume quark eight times a day for six months.

Follow the recommended recipe for making quarks:

• Combine 2 tablespoons of organic cottage cheese or cottage cheese with 1 tablespoon of freshly ground flaxseed or flaxseed oil. Using an immersion blender, blend ingredients until well combined and no visible oil remains. Eat immediately.

9. # Detoxification

Various detoxification pathways can be blocked or underused, resulting in a build-up of carcinogens and cancer formation. Increase healing in your body by flushing out toxins using one or all of the following detox strategies:

• Islamic fasting twice a week
• Exercise: increases oxygen flow and opens pores for detoxification. • Islamic fasting twice a week
• Exercise: increases oxygen flow and opens pores for detoxification.

• Infrared saunas: stimulates deep tissues for the release of carcinogenic substances.

• Coffee enemas: Eliminates toxins along the gastrointestinal tract and may also improve mood.

• Castor Oil Packs: Stimulates the flow of toxins from the organs and intestines.

• Dry brushing: Stimulates lymphatic flow and glandular function.

• Consume an anti-cancer diet: Decreases the toxic load and decreases inflammation.

• Drink lemon or mineralizing water: balances the body's natural pH.

Detoxification is a necessity in the body's healing process and in treating the symptoms of cancer. Receiving a massage paired with aromatherapy oils is another great technique for improving lymphatic function and promoting detoxification. Essential oils can improve the health of cancer patients and reduce stress and anxiety.

10. # Sunlight

Removing toxins from your body to treat cancer depends on how well your glands are functioning. Part of Dr. Budwig's previously mentioned protocol involves receiving naturally occurring photons from the sun. This creates a magnetic field which attracts electrons to cells in your body.

Mr Budwig also believed that the sun's rays stimulate the function of glandular organs, including the pancreas, salivary glands, bladder, liver and gallbladder. Boosting energy in your cells is not only vital for curing cancer, but can also improve the health of your mind.

Sunlight can improve your mood, create optimism, and better support your immune system's ability to fight foreign invaders and cancer cells.

Getting from 20 to 30 minutes (for fair skin) up to 1 to 2 hours of high quality sun exposure (for darker skin) each day is a huge benefit for those looking to prevent or slow down cancer growth.
Be careful not to use sunscreen to be able to absorb UV rays that are essential for health. You can use organic coconut oil on your skin before and after sun exposure to optimize the health of your skin.

11. # Beta-glucans

Beta-glucans are naturally occurring compounds that are found in nature but not in the human body. These complex sugar molecules complement the immune system in order to design well-targeted attacks against cancer and other foreign agents. Beta-glucans provide immunomodulation and treat excessive inflammation due to autoimmune responses.

Some common foods that contain beta glucans are yeast, mushrooms, fermented foods, and soluble, non-digestible fiber, including oats and barley.

Beta-glucans protect the body against cancer by activating immune cells such as antibodies, natural killer cells, cytokines,

T cells, and macrophages. Together, these cells coordinate attacks on tumor growth.

There are over 1000 scientific articles published on the health benefits of beta-glucan therapy. Research has shown that beta-glucan supplementation

Alyaa Ghanema Academy-Naturopath

lowers the level of cancer cells by effectively detecting and destroying their targets.

Many practitioners use 500 mg per day as a preventive measure for a healthy individual and 1000 mg, taken twice a day without food, as an immune strengthening agent to slow or prevent the growth of cancer. .
